technology is amazing. Just read in Todays Parent Magazine that AVA is the #1 name in Canada this year.
It's nice to know that she has good solid name. It will help her fit into her generation well, I think.
I read the same thing in Yahoo News. We thought we were being unique!
Think of it this way, Tina; everyone is copying you - afterall, she was born last year! I remember picking out Mandy's name when Barry Mannilow had his hit song, "Mandy." It was 4 years before she was born. Then when she was born, everyone was picking the name "Amanda" and shortening it to Mandy. There was an Amanda on a soap opera at the time, and the name just took off.
Hugh Jackman has the only other Ava that I know of. Even thought it is the most popular I have not heard it anywhere. Good pick - of course the first day of kinderden she will have about 5 Ava's in her class haha She will be the prettiest though
